Stencil H plays the Indie Soundtrack to the Road Movie of your life.

One journalist called us an Unidentified Musical Object, another graciously said that we sounded like “the Smiths played by ZZ Top.” (Why thank you!)

The fact remains that our purpose in life is to help you groove, whether in concert halls, bars, on rooftops, in apartments, parks, airports...you invite us, and we’ll be there, and that is both a threat, and a promise.

Stencil H was created in January 2011. Initially a one-person studio project, it evolved into a full-blown band, playing its first gigs in June 2011 -- after 4 rehearsals.
